Your private guide collects you in Nairobi and sets off for a full day of wildlife, conservation, and culture.
11:00 — David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
Arrive for the daily public viewing at the world-famous elephant orphanage. Watch rescued calves during feeding time and hear their individual rescue stories, alongside insight into the rehabilitation work that eventually returns them to the wild.
12:15 — Giraffe Centre
A short drive brings you to the Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. Feed them by hand from the raised platform while your guide explains the breeding programme that has helped pull the species back from the brink.
13:30 — Lunch (Optional, Own Expense)
A relaxed break at Hunger’s Nest Restaurant or a nearby alternative of your choice.
14:45 — Bomas of Kenya
Spend the afternoon among traditional homesteads representing Kenya’s diverse communities, followed by a live performance of music, dance, and storytelling.

Time and interest permitting, add a stop at the former home of Out of Africa author Karen Blixen (entrance fees apply).
