On arrival, you’re met and taken to Wilson Aerodrome for a light aircraft flight into the Mara — a genuinely spectacular way to begin, with a bird’s-eye view of the landscape and wildlife below before you’ve even started the safari itself. Your guide meets you on arrival for the short transfer to camp. Once settled, the afternoon is yours to begin exploring one of the best wildlife regions in Africa.

Morning and afternoon game drives, short walking safaris, night drives, and sundowners — all available directly from camp. Naboisho is a private conservancy within the Mara, where the number of camps and vehicles is strictly limited, giving you by far the best safari experience away from the busier parts of the park.

A city tour of Mahé can be arranged today, taking in Victoria, the island’s main town, home to the landmark clock tower known as ‘Little Ben,’ the local markets, and a few of the island’s finest beaches.

An excursion out to the islands of Praslin and La Digue can be arranged today. On Praslin, the Vallée de Mai forest holds the Coco de Mer palm and, with luck, a sighting of the rare black parrot — both found almost nowhere else on Earth.

Naboisho is a private conservancy bordering the Mara, where the number of camps and vehicles is strictly limited by agreement — meaning far fewer vehicles at any sighting and access to activities, like night drives and walking safaris, not permitted inside the national reserve itself.
A short scenic flight connects Nairobi's Wilson Aerodrome directly to an airstrip near your camp in the Mara, replacing a multi-hour road transfer with a journey that's part of the experience — and gives you an aerial view of the wildlife below before you've even arrived.
They can be arranged during your stay on Mahé; confirm with your Azure Safaris host at booking if you'd like them built into your fixed itinerary rather than added on the ground.
